Our Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our rescue animals.
To Apply
- View the adoptable pets on our website.
- If you find an animal you are interested in, click on the Apply for Adoption button below the animal’s picture and complete the application.
- Your application will be reviewed by our volunteers.
- Once approved, we’ll work with the foster home to arrange a time and place to meet.
- Once you have met the animal, if you are interested in adopting it and have other dog(s) at home, we will arrange a Meet and Greet.
- To finalize an adoption:
- If the animal has been spayed/neutered, then you will sign an Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee through the Donation page on our website.
- If the animal is not already spayed/neutered, you will complete a Foster to Adopt application and process and the adoption will be finalized with the contract as soon as the surgery has been completed.
We have a limited number of volunteers and we can only contact applicants we are considering for adoption. Please understand there are several reasons someone may not be contacted.
Please note:
- We cannot make any guarantees as to the health, age, and/or temperament of any pet in our care.
- We typically receive multiple applications for individual animals and we will select the best match for the animal.
- We reserve the right to deny an applicant for adoption when it is in the best interest of the animal, the applicant, and/or the community.
